November 7th - Fall Roundup at the Ranch
The weather was cold, but many people warmed the place. I think we had over 50 people show up to see the Magician, sit by the fire (and the new cross on the hill). Oh, and all the beautiful kids with their faces painted made us overjoyed to say the least! Anyway, we raised almost $700 dollars by the end of the day and reached out to many new faces to us. That is what it is all about!!
Thanks to all of you who participated in volunteering and making our Round Up a success! We couldn't do it without you. Thanks to Moon Dog Party Rentals for the donated Bounce house. Check them out, they were AWESOME to work with!
October 4th- Garage Sale
As you may know, we are in the process of securing finances for the Ranch to operate. This event was a success and brought in over $500 !! Thanks to all who donated items to the cause!
October 11th- Work Day
This was a fun filled day with Webster University! Please check out our Blog for more info on what was accomplished that day and keep in touch on our future work days if you want to help out.
September 20th Work Day
The day was spent with hard work and lots of accomplishments. We came away with a clean and safe place for our horses and a starting point for our next big project... A real Barn! Thanks to all of you who put in such devotion and time. We couldn't have done it without you!
Our first fall event turned out to be an amazing!! We had several people come and enjoy the beautiful scenery and the weather was perfect for what we wanted to accomplish that day which was getting the word out to the community and saying "HEY" we're here and want to serve you! We also set out to raise funds for our new home and brought in around $1500 from the event. We really appreciate those of you who came to volunteer and be a part of this big day. God showed up in a great way by bringing reporters from all over the area and, from the news reports that went out, we have received many applications for students as well as volunteers!! That, for us, was a great accomplishment. We look forward to serving the youth in our area and to being part of this community!
